Shipping policy

At checkout you will have the option to choose between UPS overnight shipping and UPS second day air. ALL order shipped via UPS overnight have a FULL GUARANTEE on live arrival, even if the shipment is delayed. If you would like a cheaper shipping rate and are comfortable taking the risk on longer travel times, you can select the UPS second day air option instead. Please note, however, that we DO NOT warranty corals sent via 2 day shipping options. The longer travel times mean increased exposure to harmful stimuli, temperature fluctuation, worsening water quality and a higher chance of delays. Please note that we do not make a dime on shipping, you are charged for the exact shipping rate we pay plus $4 for for packaging supplies.

That being said, for all soft coral and hardier LPS species 2 day shipping should be a safe option during the spring and fall. For more sensitive species of LPS and SPS corals and when the weather is more extreme during summer and winter months, it is worth spending extra on the overnight shipping method. Regardless of which choice you decide, we pack our coral to exceptionally well.

All coral are packed in a well insulated box with styrofoam walls. We fill all empty space with packing peanuts to ensure that the bags will not be moving around or shaking much during transit. Inside the bag we use carbon pellets to absorb any stress toxins that the coral release and ensure water quality stays top notch during transit. When outside temperature dictates, we use heat or cool packs to regulate the temperature inside the box as much as we can.
